EDa768 – Long Range Line Camera

The EDa768 Long Range Line Camera is designed for the precise acquisition of one-dimensional light scattering patterns. It is a specialized line camera capable of capturing scattering signals over a line length of up to 100 mm. It is specifically optimized for applications with low information density, which are typical for one-dimensional measurement techniques such as Mie scattering, laser diffraction, and rainbow analysis.

Thanks to its high sensitivity, the camera is ideally suited for use as an edge (flank) detector, for example in the determination of object geometry or surface properties. Measurement data are recorded line by line, enabling direct processing with AI-based analysis tools without any prior data preprocessing.

The accompanying software supports the fitting of up to two signal edges, allowing the EDa768 to be flexibly integrated into a wide range of optical measurement setups. The system has proven particularly effective in particle characterization and optical quality control applications.
