SQA Software – Download from the Microsoft Store

SQA Software for spray monitoring and spray analysis is available in the Microsoft Store. The Store installs the software, keeps it up to date and starts it from the Windows Start menu – no unpacking required.

Test in Simulation Mode

SQA Software can be tested without a measurement probe. In Simulation Mode, the software generates demo data with spray pulses and pauses, so all functions – Monitoring, Analysis, limits, interface settings and CSV export – can be tried out directly after installation.

  1. Install SQA Software from the Microsoft Store and start it.
  2. Check that Simulation is ticked under Connection – this is the setting at the first start – and confirm with OK.
  3. Press Start: the charts show droplet rate, droplet size and droplet velocity of the simulated spray.
  4. Switch to Analysis, change the limits under Interface or save the results with Export CSV.

Simulation data are intended for practice and evaluation; they are not measurements of your process. Demo files are marked as simulation.

Installation and First Start

  1. Open the Store entry with the button above and select Install.
  2. Start SQA Software from the Windows Start menu.
  3. At the first start, the software shows the Monitoring view in the state “Stopped” with the simulator as data source. Press Start – demo data with spray pulses and pauses appear after a short time.
  4. Switch between Monitoring and Analysis at the top of the window to try out time histories, limits and droplet distributions.

Connecting a Measurement Probe

  1. Stop the acquisition and, if needed, export the demo data.
  2. Open Connection, switch off Simulation and confirm with OK.
  3. Enter the IP address of your signal processing unit and the device ID of your probe; the software derives the probe type from the ID.
  4. Load a matching settings profile, run Test and start the measurement after a successful check.

Saving Data

Measurement results are saved as CSV files with Export CSV. In the save dialog, it is best to choose your own documents folder with a full path. Files saved with a relative name are stored in the app's local data folder; save them elsewhere before uninstalling the app.
